I read Tuesdays with Morrie for my 12 grade Lit class. Usually hated reading stuff in school because it felt like work but also they would usually pick some boring stuff to read. Tuesdays with Morrie though is something that still sticks with me. It is a beautiful book and even reread it a few years ago (in my 30s now) and some stuff hit even harder with that reread.

However I'm currently in the middle of the handmaid's tale and its already taking zevin's spot 2) i'm not very up to date on new releases but i have enjoyed emily Henry's books so maybe her new one (Funny Story I think is called) 3) again, im not even sure whats coming out later this year haha 4) happy place by emily henry, im not a big romance reader but i really really enjoyed that one 5) Gabrielle Zevin or Isabel Allende, read both of them for the first time this year and loved them, also Margaret Atwood, can't choose haha 6) Clara from the House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende 7) Even if this love dissapears tonight (read it because of what it did to Emma haha) 8) I reread with a friend the infernal devices trilogy and it made me really happy, it was nostalgic 9) I got a beautiful edition of a book called delirio by Laura Restrepo (colombian author) 10) I'm due for a reread of one hundred years of solitude and Hamnet (east of eden is also very high on my tbr actually) ❤ love your videos Carolyn

I've been able to read a few things as I recuperate, like Karin Slaughter, Anne Sexton, Claire Keegan, Amy Tan, etc but without your good fortune of finding so many fantastic reads! However, I do have high hopes for the rest of the year, with Brit Bennett, William Faulkner, Lee Child and perhaps Hiraku (sp.?) Murakami. Oh and yes, I did also have the exquisite pleasure of participating in a short Shakespeare group (4 plays), with the hope of rereading a few more. Thx, and take care.
